Guests will enjoy a pre-arranged sightseeing itinerary with a Private Car and Guide to explore the following destination highlights.

Start your tour in downtown Ketchikan, where you can explore the historic district on foot or by car. Drive along Creek Street, a picturesque boardwalk lined with colorful buildings that were once brothels and now house shops and galleries. Take in the sights of the bustling waterfront and the fishing boats bobbing in the harbor.

Drive to Saxman Native Village, located just a short distance from downtown Ketchikan. This Native Alaskan village is known for its collection of intricately carved totem poles, which offer insights into the culture and history of the Tlingit people. While a 4-hour tour may not allow for a guided tour, you can drive through the village to see the totem poles from the car.

If time allows and you're interested in Native Alaskan culture, consider driving to Totem Bight State Historical Park, located a short distance north of Ketchikan. This park features a collection of totem poles and a replica of a traditional Tlingit clan house, offering opportunities for exploration and learning about the region's indigenous heritage. Drive to Herring Cove, a scenic area known for its wildlife viewing opportunities. While a 4-hour tour may not allow for extensive wildlife watching, you can drive to the viewing platform to scan the waters for bald eagles, seals, and other marine life. Keep an eye out for the salmon spawning in the creek during the summer months.

As your tour comes to an end, make your way back to downtown Ketchikan. Along the way, you can drive through other scenic areas or neighborhoods to soak in the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.
